About the Mudsliners 4H Club
The Mudslingers 4H Club is a branch of the Snohomish County Motorcycle/ATV Program.

The 4-H Motorcycle/ATV Project is dedicated to the education of youth with regard to the safe use and enjoyment of off-road vehicles.

The project includes group activities that are important to the educational development of kids.  They learn to give and take, learn the meaning of team effort and develop acceptable group interaction skills.  They learn their responsibilities with regard to state law as it pertains to the operation of their recreational vehicle.

The purpose of this project is to:

1. Teach youth basic riding skills.

2. Develop safe motorcycle/atv riding habits and attitudes.

3. Teach respect and appreciation for one?s own equipment and for the rights of others.

4. Provide an atmosphere for learning while enjoying recreational off-road vehicles.

5. Teach elementary and fundamental maintenance, and how to select a recreational vehicle that best fits the size needs and skills of the operator.

6. Develop group interaction skills.

7. Develop leadership talents and work toward the broad objective of character and effective citizenship.

8. Develop awareness of vocational opportunities and careers that are associated with recreational vehicles.
